The opportunity to stay in your own little cottage on a lake, while once fairly commonplace in this part of the state, has become increasingly rare.  When the unexpected chance to purchase this unique property arose, we put our heads together and came up with a plan that allowed this cottage to be shared with others.  Located in central Minnesota, just a two hour drive from the metro, Koselig Cottage is the perfect spot for a little get-away.

The fast paced world we live in consumes our energy and splits our attention in a million directions. We all benefit from a little time away to pause and just be.  Here, the timeless sounds of a crackling fire, kids spashing in the lake and (if you're lucky) the enchanting call of a loon have a way of directing our attention to the present moment. Whether you choose to soak in the spring-fed waters of Long Lake, take a kayak for a quiet paddle or simply enjoy the view, you will find your stay rejuvenating.

Koselig Cottage sits atop a hill overlooking sparkling Long Lake in Kandiyohi County; the original cottage built in 1959 still retains the charm from that era but has been completely updated and offers all of the modern conveniences (including laundry & air conditioning).

So come, have your morning coffee on the dock and listen to the lap of the water, have a chat with the birds or take a nap in the hammock. For a day or two, just let the rest of the world go by.

We'd love to have you,

Tim, Ann, Naomi & Jon
